A picnic might be a good idea if you live in the NY area, but some of us will be coming to the reunion from far away- I live in Seattle and would hate to make my way to NY only to have the reunion delayed for a week because of weather. As much as I would love to be outside I don't think we can leave it to the elements to behave for us.
: Everybody seems to want a reunion but the organization of it is difficult and time consuming. Why don't we just have a picnic in a city park in the spring. We set a date in May or June, post the date and location on this board and people just come. No invites, no fee, no hassles. We set a rain date for the following week. Everybody could just bring a plate of food, etc. It should be a park that is easily accessible and has a nice grass area. It's easy and should be a lot of fun.
