About six years ago, I had my son's Cub Scout Den
make a Skelly field on a 4'x4' piece of masonite.
Then we waxed some caps and launched a skelly fever
on Long Island that lasted for several months.

The reason kids don't stay interested nowadays is that
there is no risk of being run down by "CAR!".

My kids do play a couple of times a year. Now if only
there was a wall around like the one on the Wyoina Street
side of the Biltmore, we could work on Chineese handball, Ace-King-Queen,
Off-the-wall-baseball, and slaughterhouse.

Putting the board together made it easier for the
arthritis set, too.
