Pilchman was not married (I'm sure no one is
surprised!). What a character! I had her for 7th
grade typing (1966-67). She was such a nervous
wreck, she made ME nervous. I remember her walking
around the room with a ruler (or pointer) in her
hand, and smacking down hard on your typewriter if
you were doing an assignment incorrectly. I must
admit, however, that she taught me well. I still
remember how to hold my fingers on the keyboard!
