Jimi Hendrix opening for the Monkeys at Forest Hills, Jimi playing lead for the Isley Brothers, Cream doing 10 sets a day on their first US tour for Murray the K at a movie theatre in Manhattan. And if you want to go way back, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, Jackie Wilson, Eddie Cochran, and the Killer Himself, aka Jerry Lee Lewis playing for the likes of Alan Freed and Murray the K at Brooklyn's Fox and the Paramount Theatres.
