Re: Mr. Kalman the math teacher at Gershwin Bonnie I'm sure that I went to Gershwin with your sister Ronnie. I was a friend of Michelle Afrant ( the opera singer) whom I believe was a neighbor of yours. Your sister loved to sew in those days and was interested in going to F.I.T.

: : Does anyone recall Richard Kalman the math teacher and his colored chalk. he would spend 45 minutes talking about frank sinatra, al jolson, baseball or anything else that was on his mind and then minutes before the bell rang, answer the opening math problem, and teach lesson. We used to feed him topics just to hear his discourse. How about Mrs. Jacobson the French teacher. I would still like to know what she was going on about in French. Maybe I should have taken Spanish. Oh well.

: Hi Stephen - I do remember Richard Kalman in my 3 - year SP class - i think it was 1964. 7th grade.
: Did I bump into you in Buffalo while you were studying medicine and I was a psych intern?

: Are you related to Richard Blander who is looking for my sister Ronni's ex- sister-in-law Shelley Migden?
