I remember all these. Making owns sodas with seltzer water and bottled soda syrup. The bread man -Dugans,Eggs,milk. I remember Dr.Bernstein making house calls.

: A favorite pasttime among my little crowd was staying out overnight. During these adventures we would always dine like the kings and queens of the projects we were by "shopping" the floors and relieving those grey boxes of bottled milk, bread, cakes, and chocolate donuts.
