I know about the battle of the bands personally. My band played at one at the "Y" and Ralphie Meatball and PeeWee were in one of the opposing bands. First Ralphie wanted to borrow my bright shiny new Vox ampand my not really being one of the hangers out refused. Luckily Ralphie had a broken arm ( probably from hitting somebody really hard) and all I got was a sneer. Later, Ralphie stole and the ballot box and guess who won.
