I would like to propose that we switch over slowly --ie, leave this system up for those who need some special help in accessing the new system, but meanwhile, launch the new system. The new system is based on a highly sophisticated new community technology and will provide all you suggest and more.

As with anything higher end on the web, those with low-end systems may sometimes have trouble, but hey, if you have less than a 486 you can't even GET on the web, right?

One major issue for the new system is that it requires that you allow cookies, because it uses cookies to easily pass you right in after you sign up, eliminating a major hassle.
