I remember Charlie's face as being pocked all over, and red --it's amazing to me now that, as a child, he seemed such a natural part of the landscape, along with his huge baby carriage stuffed with seemingly thousands of things. I can only imagine Charlie the Candyman patrolling the streets of Chappaqua!
