I'm a graduate of the old BBS system. Is it possible to structure the new message system like that, with
a general interest message board and individual interest areas..."Pubs" on a BBS...where people can
post according to interest. Outsiders would have little reason to bother us there if the "Pubs" had very
narrow interest bands. Pubs like School Days, Neigborhood points of interest, Neighborhood characters
and "celebrities" or People, Places and Things of Interest , What do you do now??, I'm looking for...,
Sorority (Fraternity) Sibs, Kids stuff could all be pretty open to the public. Pubs that you want to capture
a specific audience, have monitored by a pub leader, or really want to limit access like "Can anybody
help me?", or Homey Dating Center, or Barter Board would be perfect choices for your password
protected areas.
