: The Knish man had that aluminum cart with three drawers for potato and kashe knishes. He also could be found around Livonia Ave. near Fortunoffs. Remember the music we would hear when Chow Chow Cup was in the neighborhood.

Boy do I remember the knish man with his silver cart with the drawers full of those delicious potato knishes and that salt shaker!
I have yet to have a potato knish that was as good -crusy on the outside and not too soft on the inside. I particularly remember him under the el by Fortunoffs on Livonia and Pennsylvania. Those were the days, my old friends.
