Remember that raging rebellion, the psychedelic one, spawned during the Sixties by Ken Kesey, author of One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, and the crew of Merry Pranksters? Anyone around back then knows the scoop: These were the wild and free-thinking hippies -- the self-proclaimed warriors -- who repackaged rebellion for the Post-Industrial Age. Their compelling philosophy, based on a rejection of materialism and a focus on shared consciousness and inner exploration, inspired a decade of music and a generation of idealistic youth. Now, in a month-long cyberjam on OMNI Internet, Ken Kesey and his Prankster collaborator Ken Babbs, along with some of their free-thinking crew, will open your doors of perception on rebellion in the new millennium -- and this time it's all electronic. Kesey and Babbs started the "Cyberjam" earlier in the month with an open, two hour chat. They courageously covered what some have called "the most boring election in history" live on OMNI Internet with wit and wisdom. And, they continue the dialogue through a series of insights into the great Net Rebellion upon us, and through the bulletin board.
