Timothy Leary had been scheduled as OMNI Internet's premiere virtual fireside chat with contributing editor A.J.S.Rayl. That, obviously, was not to be. As one of those teenagers "corrupted" by the movement in the late sixties, however, Rayl had been crossing paths with Leary since first attending a lecture of his in Tucson, Arizona, in 1969. Throughout the course of this month, Rayl will be presenting a different kind of obituary -- a journalistic mosaic, part prose and part bebop/jazz, distilled from her many talks with Leary and his closest friends over the years. Short biographical sketches on various high points and low points and weird points in Leary's life are here juxtaposed with the memories, thoughts, and comments from those who knew him best.
