Since its inaugural edition, Omni has featured the art of Robert Venosa on its covers and ages in more than 25 issues. The Fantastic Realism of Venosa has been exhibited worldwide and been the subject of three books: Manas Manna,
Noospheres, and the upcoming Drifts with Terence McKenna (who was the subject of the Omni Interview, May 1993). In addition to
painting, sculpting, and film design (he worked on the movie, Dune, in collaboration with H.R. Giger, and Fire in The Sky for Paramount Pictures), Venosa has added computer art to his artistic pursuits. He has also recently started to teach and conduct workshops at such institutes as Naropa in Boulder, Colorado, Skyros Institute on the Island of Skyros in Greece, and Esalen at Big Sur, California. Perhaps the best description of Venosa's work comes from others who are respected masters themselves.
