Does any one remember, Izzy the Knish man who used to sell the greasy knishes near the train station on Pennsyvlania Avenue, the greasier the better and the Kosher Deli corner of Pennsylvania and Livonia Avenue, how about when Fortunoff used to be on Livonia Avenue, the Jeff field, the bonfires, the best pizza on new lots avenue, the Biltmore theatre, you went on Sat afternoon no matter what was playing. The circle in the Linden Projects. The YMHA on Linden Boulevard, what ever happened to the bands that played there, Mike Denson and the other names elude me. The teachers at PS 190, Mrs. Lund, the teachers at JHS 166, Miss Kennedy who always told you to get out of the room when we mis-behaved. Those were the days...SHERRY CENER
