One of my best memories of growing up in ENY in the '60s was getting together with friends and listening to records. We'd trade records and exchange recommendations of what to listen to.
And the concerts! We'd go in groups to the Fillmore & the Garden. We'd talk endlessly about who we preferred: The Beatles or the Rolling Stones; Cream or Jimi Hendrix. It was a great time to be a kid, and the music really WAS better then.
