Hi Sidney,

You were right about the order of teachers. Bregman was 4th grade and Rothstein was 5th. We were in 3-3, 4-4, 5-5 and 6-6. They gave us overachievers double numbers back then. One of my other memories of Rothstein's class was being beat out by one check-plus by Larry Friedman for the Jackie Robinson baseball. To this day I wish one of my homework assignments was a little neater. You're right about Ingber too. She was a battle axe. I can still see her brushing her hair with her biceps flailing wildly in the air. The she would top it off with that cyclops hat of hers. It was a big green number with a blue jewel stuck in the middle. She wore it all winter.
