Bad Karma

Douglas Clegg was born in Virginia, and has lived in Hawaii, London, Paris, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and Stonington, Connecticut, which he currently calls home. Prior to his first novel, he was a journalist, writing for magazines and then working in the research department in television news. His first novel, Goat Dance, was published in 1989 and was nominated for a Bram Stoker Award for Outstanding First Novel. Since then, he has seen the publication of six novels, as well as nearly thirty short stories. His most recent, Bad Karma, a suspense thriller, appears under the pen name Andrew Harper. His novels The Children's Hour and Bad Karma have both been optioned for motion pictures. He is currently working on a horror novel, The Halloween Man, due out in October, 1998.
