Christopher Wills is a professor of biology at University of California, San Diego, where he works as an evolutionary biologist, conducting research on, among other things, the evolution of sex and recombination, using yeast as a model organism. He has written several other books, including The Wisdom of the Genes: New Pathways in Human Evolution and The Runaway Brain: The Evolution of Human Uniqueness.
