His short fiction has appeared in Omni and Playboy and other major magazines and anthologies. He is the editor of Wandering Stars and co-editor of the Vietnam anthology, In the Fields of Fire. A new novel, Counting Coup and a collection, Jubilee and Other Stories, are forthcoming. He is a recent transplant from upstate New York to Australia.
