We had a chat with him Monday, June 30, 1997. You can read a transcript here.

Frank Miller is the graphic novelist who revamped Batman with his best-selling 1984 series The Return of the Dark Knight. Miller's work on the character is credited as having inspired the first of the highly-successful Batman films. In 1990 he launched his noir drama Sin City starring Marv, a big ugly guy. In addition to Sin City: Family Values, an original graphic novel coming out in mid-September, Miller also has the one-shot Tales to Offend, to be available in mid-July.
