Lee M. Silver is a professor at Princeton University in the Departments of Molecular Biology, Ecology, and Evolutionary Biology, and the Program in Neuroscience. He conducts research in genetics, evolution, reproduction, and developmental biology, with a current focus on behavioral genetics. Professor Silver also teaches courses and lectures widely on the social impact of biotechnology, with an emphasis on reprogenetics. In 1993, he was elected a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He lives with his wife and three children in Princeton, New Jersey.
