Mary Anne Moser, after a brief stint as a journalist, began an academic career and conducted research on the presentation of science in print media. She is the co-editor of several anthologies, including Immersed in Technology, published by MIT Press, and Questions of Community: Artists, Audiences, Coalitions. She was the founding editor of the Banff Centre Press at Canada's acclaimed Banff Centre for the Arts, and has worked as a freelance producer on several multimedia events at the Centre, such as Interactive Screen and Flesh Eating Technologies. She is currently a principal in Zero G Art & Design, working as a writer, editor, and designer who specializes in publications on contemporary art and culture.

Douglas MacLeod has worked professionally as an architect, computer graphic artist, programmer, musician and writer. He is currently the Director of Projects for WurcNet -- the Western Universities Research Consortium. He is the former Program Director of Computer Applications and Research at the Banff Centre for the Arts and was the Project Director of the Art and Virtual Environments Project, also at the Banff Centre. The Virtual Environments project was aimed at providing artists with access to virtual technologies and at developing a critical discourse that examines the implications of these technologies. MacLeod is a registered architect in the State of California and is a specialist in the field of computer aided design. Before joining the Banff Centre, he was an associate with Barton Myers Associates, Architects and Planners in Los Angeles.
